I cant seem to find a shampoo/conditioner brand that I like. What is the best brand you have ever used? All of my friends recommend the Bed-Head brand, any comments on it?

Bed head is a great brand but I would have to say K PAK it is all I use and recommend to my clients. Whom all love it I have yet to find someone who does not like it. It is made by Joico and has the most amazing smell but apart from it aroma it does wonders for your hair. It is a specialty hair care line for dry, damaged, and/or curly hair. A great moisturizing and reconstructing product. Try it and I just bet that you will never use any other product again. They are in brown bottles and can be found in any salon or beauty supply except sally’s.
Please do not buy any salon products from any drug store or grocery store the product is usually old, contaminated, or does not contain the true product. This is called the grey market or diversion stylist have been fighting it for years. Besides you can usually get the products cheaper in the salon or get promo deals like 2 liters for $25 when the stores charge you $20 just for a small bottle.
Nexus and Treseme are the only two salon products that are sold legally in the drug and grocery stores. Nexus is also a great product but not as great as K PAK. I really hope this helps and Good Luck to you.

i like the joico kpac line. its a bit pricey. sort of. like 14 dollars or so but granted i buy it at a small shop. but i dye my hair so it needs extra love especially since it runs rather dry. but this stuff makes me happy- keeps it soft and manageable ; )

Aussie is quite expensive but reeeeeeeeealy good. You can get it in loads of different types for your hair type… like for curly hair or for coloured hair or straight hair. =]

Seriously, don’t waste your money on salon brands. Most are made by the same companies that have products in grocery or retail stores anyway.
I prefer herbal essences conditioners and pantene conditioners and mane n tail shampoo.
Actually, it is better for your hair to NOT stick to just one brand so your hair doesn’t get used to it and build up.

I am really liking the new loreal expert brand…. it’s for color hair and is only the second shampoo/ conditioner that does what it says…. stops by color treated hair from fading!!!
My hair even feels softer after just shampooing!

Well I have a few favorite brands, Natures Gate is probably my favorite of all natural brands, the conditioner they have with mint in it is amazing it tingles on your scalp and it feels great.

For professional brands I like Back To Basics its cheaper than most but its good, the salon in town sells that brand and cost cutters sells it too but its cheaper at my local salon. But cost cutters offers discount offers sometimes. Like email offers and savings scratch offs with service. Also when you buy salon shampoo and conditioner with a service they can recommend the best formula for your specific hair type having touched and worked with your hair. For this reason I pay special attention and ask about all the products- shampoo, conditioner, gels, sprays, and tools they use and ask lots of questions, its always good to ask a lot of questions so that you know how to keep up the look at home. Also its good to touch your hair when your done and feel it (some styling products look good but leave your hair feeling gross or don’t have good hold throughout the day.)
I also like Sexy Hair, right now for the season I’ve been using there detoxifying pumpkin shampoo and conditioner.
